Your privacy is important to us. ZeroZero helps you and your groups organize sports games — posting games, racing for open slots, managing waitlists, and keeping a shared schedule. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

Information We Collect

ZeroZero requires an account so your games, groups, and schedule stay in sync and visible to the right people. When you use the app, we collect:

Account details you sign up with, such as your email address, phone number or Google sign-in
Profile information you add, such as your display name, username, profile photo, and bio.
Group and game activity, such as the groups you join, games you post or join, your slot or waitlist position, venues you enter, dates, times, and notes.
Photos you choose to upload as your profile picture or a group image.
Entry-fee records, such as whether a game's fee has been marked paid or unpaid, and the amount.
Basic technical information, such as device model, app version, and diagnostic or crash data, to keep the app reliable.

ZeroZero does not collect your device's precise location. Venue details are text you enter yourself.

How Your Data Is Stored

Unlike a purely on-device app, ZeroZero is a shared, group-based service, so your account and game data are stored securely in the cloud. This is what lets your groups see the same schedule and lets your data sync across sessions and devices.

Some information is visible to others by design: members of a group you join can see your display name, username, profile photo, and your participation in shared games. Please only share what you're comfortable making visible to your groups.

AI-Powered Features

ZeroZero includes an optional AI assistant that lets you create or manage games in your own words — by typing or by recording a short voice note.

When you use it, the text or audio you provide is securely transmitted to Google's Gemini API to understand your request and pre-fill a game form for you to review. Only the input needed for the feature is transmitted.

Using the AI assistant is optional — you can always create and manage games manually.
Voice is captured only while you are actively recording and not stored.>

We do not store copies of your AI requests on our own servers beyond what is needed to provide the feature.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share information only in these ways:

With your groups — the profile and participation details described above are visible to members of groups you join.
With service providers — Supabase(to run accounts, storage, and notifications) and Google's Gemini API (for the AI assistant), which process data on our behalf under their own terms.
For legal or safety reasons — where required by law or to protect people's rights and safety.

Analytics and Advertising

ZeroZero does not show ads and does not use advertising networks.

We do not sell user data or use your content for advertising.

Permissions

Photos and Media

Used only when you choose to attach a profile picture or group image.

Microphone

Used only when you choose to record a voice note for the AI assistant. Audio is captured only while you are actively recording.

Notifications

Used only to send the game alerts, reminders, waitlist updates, and payment reminders you choose to enable. You can turn these on or off any time in the app or your device settings.

Data Security

Communication with our services and the Gemini API is performed over encrypted HTTPS connections, and your data is stored using Supabase security controls. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

You can edit your profile and delete individual games or leave groups within the app at any time.
You can delete your account, which removes your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to keep it.

Children's Privacy

ZeroZero is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the required age. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
